Ansel Adams Biography

         Ansel Adams was a photographer and environmentalist. He was born in February of 1902. He was in many peoples opinion the best photographer of all time. Growing up he was a very smart person, although he did suffer from dislexia. But he did suffer a bit in school. He was never able to succeed is public school, so he was tutored at home. When he was twelve he taught himself to read music and play the piano. Soon he was taking lessons and he kept going far with music. Ansels first photographs and writings were put up on the club bulletin in 1922. his first photo, monolith, the Face of Dome was created in 1927. For Adams, the environmental issues of particular importance were Yosemite National Park, the national park system, and above all, the preservation of wilderness. Although wilderness was his passion, photography just seemed to fit him. I really like this picture because the white really stands out in the snow. I also like hime there is only bit of black in the pine needles so it doesn't darken the whole picture.

I really like this one because it really shows the different angles that were taken in this picture. I think that it is cool because it is curved also. It gives it a cool different dimension. Also the lighting on the right side of the picture gives it a very cool effect.

I really like how it shows many different mountains in the background by taking different shots. I also like how the water is dark on one side and then eventually gets lighter.

Found Faces Story

          Joe is a very funny person who loves to crack jokes. He spends most of his time around Newberg High School making the kids laugh. He always seems to have that laughing look on his face. He grew up in a very small family. He and his sisters grew up with very many family friends  which he was very close to. But unfortunately he had to make the decision of staying and living with his family, or to move away and get a good job and start a family of his own.He made the decision of movie and trying to get into a good school and get a good education. He is a kind of crazy so he doesn't really have very many friends when he first starts out at comedian school. But has one friend who really catches his eye is Pete. Pete now is like his brother. They do everything together. Joe enjoys time spending time with him because Pete helps him with his jokes. Joe works for the nearby comedian center,as a full time comedian. Last year he got voted  funniest man alive by his local towns people. His favorite thing in the world is to see people smile. After cracking a good joke Joe always loves to see the expressions of the people. He would like to go further with his career and go on the world tour and get his name known across the whole universe and make history.One of his many hidden talents is blowing leaves. He volunteers for the school after he gets off work to help the custodian clean up the leaves. He would like to help out as much as he can. He loves to watch football and helping around school as much as he can. All in all Joe is a pretty laid back dude.

I really like this picture because at this festival they send up a wish along with the floating lantern  into the sky to see if it  comes true. In this picture the amber really stands out to me among the darkness in the background. It also shows an unique touch on the people because of all the amber lanterns the people get the glare on them. It gives it character by having the different sizes of the lanterns. As you can see the at the top of the picture you can see how the lanterns get further away than the lantern on the left.
